Take the Microsoft Kinect out of its natural enviroment and apply it to the rleam of robotic assisted driving.
Mount the Kinect to the roof my Jetta VW and wire it into my car's systems.
Intrograte the two with custom software programmed in C++ using the OpenNI and NITE libaries.

Like most things when I want to learn something new I do a quick vocabulary brush up online then I purchase a book from Amazon.com to get me going in the right direction. This project was no differant.
